I am a University Professor of English from Samara, Russia. This is my first attempt at blogging. I guess it is more or less like writing a diary, only online and publicly. Well, writing an e-mail diary is someting I know well enough.

I am 28 and live with mother. I’ve lived here all my life, except those times I am off travelling (business or leisure) somewhere: thrice in the USA (my favourite country), twice in Scotland, once in Turkey and Oman.

I am going to write primarily in English, but Russian postings are possible and comments are welcome.

air travel (I adore flying, Boeing is better than Airbus, long-haul is better than short-haul, economy is quite all right, window seats in the back of the plane are better, American airports are better)

books (reading in English, Austen, Forster, Bryson)

dicks (good ones, which doesn’t always mean very big)

English (consider it my second mother tongue, though mother doesn’t speak it)

freeware (finding cool free software that replaces pirate or trialware/shareware for free with the same or bigger functionality and for free)

frequent flyer programmes (I am a member of Aeroflot Bonus, Air France/KLM Flying Blue, Delta Sky Miles, United Mileage Plus, Emirates Skywards, Czech Airlines OK Plus and British Airways Executive Club)

Internet (browsing, mostly gay personals and news)

kissing (what I like most in sex)

masturbation / jerking off (often easier and safer than other forms of sex)

men (gay guys aged 25-34)

movies (watching DVDs in English, drama, BBC, some comedies, some action, gay-themed drama)

music (country, some pop, some soft rock, some alternative rock)

singing (mostly singing along with my favourite CDs, so I love CD booklets with lyrics)
